“LittleBig Soldier”– Movie Online Game to hit Asia
C Y Foundation and International Superstar Jackie Chan Team Up
[17 February 2010, Hong Kong] The PRC’s leading electronic tournament and digital entertainment company, C Y Foundation Group Limited ( “C Y Foundation” or the “Group”; SEHK: 1182), announcedtoday that it has entered into a joint cooperation with Euro Websoft, a Chinese creative online games design and development company, to promote a new online game called “Little Big Soldier”. This will be an adventure style massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) based on the action comedy of the same name premiering in February and featuring international superstar Jackie Chan. This is also Jackie Chan’s first movie to be reproduced as an online game.
The movie is set in the warring states period in China circa 475BC-221BC and revolves around the story of a soldier (Jackie Chan) and a general. The game developers have replicated the look and feel of the movie in a fun, cartoon style layout. Players can choose any role from the movie as their character and navigate similar movie terrain to complete quests, climb levels and eliminate rivals along the way. The game combineselements of a MMORPG and a Social Network Service (SNS), providing players with a totally different and more exciting gaming experience.
The game is a joint production between Euro Websoft andHuanxu Cultural Media, the exclusive agency of Jackie Chan’scompany Long Yuen Tang. Euro Websoft and C Y Foundation will be the joint operator of the game.
C Y Foundation, a leader in organizing tournaments through its digital entertainment platform www.iefgames.com, will soon launch a competition under the banner of”Enjoy the game, Win a movie prize”. Winners will receive movie tickets to “Little Big Soldier” and movie posters signed by Jackie Chan. The grand prize is a free roundtrip with accommodation to Beijing to participate in the gala movie premiere with Jackie Chan.
C Y Foundation sees this as one of several online game initiatives it plans to launch over the next several months.
